Christmas Carols

Firstly, I should apologise to all those Show and Tellers that visited my blog yesterday (and today!) because I haven't yet had time to visit all your blogs, but I do plan to before Christmas Day actually rolls around!

And why didn't I visit? Because I was spending the day in London with friends of mine and in the evening we ended up here...

019

At the Royal Albert Hall to listen to a selection of carols and join in on a lot of them too!

002

This is one impressive building, it never fails to make me feel good.

011

The musicians wore olde-worlde costumes and looked great in them too. Yes, we were indeed that close to the stage...it was fabulous. We sang all the old favourites and listened to some of the more challenging ones like the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.

015

Well worth a visit!! Before we got to the carols though, we spent the day in the new shopping centre in London - Westfield - it is massive, truly massive. We got lost a few times, but thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the shops, and I know that we didn't even get to see all of them! (we even popped into Tiffanys to see what it was like - of course there were no prices on any of the jewellery, but it did look nice and expensive!! ha ha!)

A Christmas concert at Royal Albert Hall sounds perfect. How great you got to do that.

Have a lovely Christmas and Boxing Day.

WOW! Carols at the Royal Albert Hall, you are super cool! And here I'm just listening to Christmas music on our lite rock radio station...

Oh dear god... How could you do that to the Albert Hall?! Have you no respect for tradition?

:-)

Hi Sam
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.
What a fab night out at the Albert Hall after a great day's shopping.
I've been in Tiffanys in NYC and you know what they say...if you have to ask the price...you can't afford it
Hugs
Kath
