Well, seeing as it is time for Show and Tell over at Lollipop Goldstein's, I thought that I would show a couple of photographs in honour of summer! OK, I know that it is summer down under and I have seen a couple of great photographs of my cousin and her new daughter in Adelaide.
But here in the UK, it is cold and wintry, while we are not getting the heavy snows that can be seen in North America, it still feels cold and summer feels far far away! So, here are two photographs of a childhood summer, probably about thirty (!) years ago.
Doesn't that make you long for summer again, to be on the beach basking in the sun and dabbling a few toes in the water? That's not to say that I don't like winter, but sometimes only warm sunshine will do! And these photographs will just have to remind me of summer while we wait for spring to come round so that we can see the flowers blooming again!

I'm ready for it to start getting lighter in the mornings, I find that hardest about winter days. It is so much better for the last week getting up when light wakes me instead of an alarm!
Oh, I haven't been on a beach in ages! Thanks for putting up some pictures so I can reminisce. :0)
I love the snowflakes on your blog background too!
ahhhh, i love the beach! :-)
Cute! Is that little Sam? I also like the action shot in the background of the first photo.
Oh, cute cute Sam! I love the beach too although I'm an awful swimmer. I'm thinking more in terms of camera opportunities. LOL.
Those are fabulous pics.
Ooooh, I love those pictures! They make me warmer inside just looking at them. :)
Ah, Summer! To be all warm again. It seems so long ago.
