Snow!

I know that we don't get quite the volume of snow that appears in North America, Canada and other parts of Europe. But for us, the recent snow has been a LOT of snow.

As you can see, my back garden is rather small, but I still managed to create a respectable snowman, complete with carroty nose that keeps falling out!

I just wish that we could cope with snowfall better than we do. People drive unsafely, councils run out of gritting for the road, or....people take snow-days when they could really get to work if they drove carefully and planned ahead a bit. Of course, I am lucky because this snow fall coincided with my week off work so I didn't have to worry about getting in to work at all this week!

P.S. The cat doesn't much like snow!!

P.S. Don't forget to visit my One World One Heart Post before the 12th February to win some of my greeting cards!!

A American friend living in London is so happy with the snow. She misses it. It's something I've never gotten used to, but then it rarely, if ever, snows where I live.

It is raining though--and many drivers don't know how to drive in the rain.

Whereabouts in the UK are you?

Ah snow. Can I send you some of mine?? Actually it isn't too bad right now but that's because for the last month it has hardly gotten above zero degrees (F).

The cat in the snow is funny. We rarely get snow in Texas, but when we did my cat was absolutely facinated with it.

I hope if you have to get out of the house you are surrounded by safe drivers. Or at least that the bad ones stay away from you!

Poor putty.

My felines don't go outside, but the girls are disgusted.

Just think of the lovely moisture the garden is getting. . .

I often forget how far apart geographically we all are! Snow has been my each and every day for the last three months...Lots and Lots!

Snowmen...we've made a few! xoxo

Beautiful snow. Sadly, the one time this year that we got enough snow to build a snowman, the snow was too powdery to stick together and make a snowman.

I did a snow show & tell recently too, I was so excited by the amount we get here in Ohio! I should have remembered from my childhood living here, but it's been a while since I've been surrounded by as much snow as I've seen here this winter. Ours is melting now--have fun in yours while it lasts!

As much as I LOVE snow, I am glad it's you and NOT me. I think I may have been traumatized by our 2-3 weeks of snow. Two of those weeks we were literally snowed in.Have fun, be safe AND stay warm. Thank you for sharing, I love the picture of your cat. Too funny!

I love your snowman! And your little garden is very cute. I just have my balcony to work with.

And isn't it amazing how no matter where you are in the world, people forget how to drive once it snows?
